VOICES OF THE NEXT 250

A nationwide elementary art & civics activity celebrating America’s 250th anniversary where every child imagines themselves as President and shares their hopes for the future.

WHAT IS VOICES OF THE NEXT 250?

A Canvas the Vote Initiative

Voices of the Next 250 is a classroom-friendly art and civics activity for students in grades K–5. Every student receives a one-page worksheet inviting them to draw themselves as President and write about how they would make our country better.

The project centers creativity, imagination, and civic voice — without partisanship — while giving schools and students a joyful way to participate in America’s 250th anniversary.
